Zone 4 Senior Program
Senior Tour Eligibility

Males who have reached the age of 55 on or before the event date  are eligible to participate, receive prizes, earn “Senior Golfer of The Year” points and to become the Zone 4 Senior Men’s Champion.

Golfers who will reach the age of 55 by the first day of the BCGA Senior Amateur Championship may enter the Zone 4 Senior Amateur Championship solely for the purpose of earning a Zone 4 Team position.

A team consisting of the four lowest 36 hole gross scores posted at the Zone 4 Senior Championship, will, providing they enter the BCGA Provincial Senior Championship, receive a team shirt and cap and will represent Zone 4 at the Provincial Senior Championship.

All contestants must be Zone 4 members with valid BCGA handicap index cards duly signed within 14 days of the event.

The maximum handicap used for prizes is 20, however, higher handicap players may enter and will be accepted providing there are tee times available. Guests, age 55 or over introduced by a competitor will be allowed to play if there is room but are not eligible for prizes. In the unlikely event that the maximum number of competitors has been reached, Guests, and then highest handicaps in that order will be the used to reduce the field.

The Derek Glazer Trophy, (Senior Golfer Of The Year) will be awarded to the competitor who accumulates the most points, based on 100 for first and 10 for tenth during the year
